Seminar-cum-workshop “Non-destructive testing as a guarantee of railroad traffic safety”

On April 17 to 19, 2019, Kamkor Vagon LLP will organize Seminar-cum-workshop “Non-destructive testing as a guarantee of railroad traffic safety” on the basis of Karaganda car-repairing depot.

The purpose of the event is to help branches’ employees to study and master modern means of non-destructive testing and technical diagnosis of the latest manufacturers’ solutions for testing of rolling stock which uses 1520 mm ruts.

Karaganda car-repairing depot shall become a platform where non-destructive testing and safety developing specialists and organizations can share opinions and have constructive dialogue.

Representatives of all the plants which produce non-destructive testing and technical diagnosis means will participate in the seminar, such as: Mikroakustika OOO, (RF, Ekaterinburg), Prompribor RPE LLC (RF, Moscow), Altek-Nauka LLC (RF, Saint-Petersburg), Pribor-GT (RF, Vladimir). Members of “Kazakhstan Association of car repairing enterprises” ALE - Akmola car-repair plant JSC, Astana Railway Services LLP – as well as representatives of Bogatyr Trans Ltd., car repairing company.

V.M. Brodnikov, Director of “Non-Destructive Testing Attestation Center”, Private Institution will present a report on “Requirements to further training and certification of personnel in the area of non-destructive testing”.

Tatyana Mikhailovna Lutsenko, Deputy Director of Ukrainian Scientific and Research Institute for Non-Destructive Testing UkrSRINDT (Ukraine, Kyiv), will present a report on “Changes to PR NK V.2-V.4 and their accordance to current regulatory documents”.

It is planned to conduct master classes for manufacturers of non-destructive testing and technical diagnosis means, Altek-Nauka LLC and Prompribor LLC.

Issues of improving quality of non-destructive testing of details and assemblies of freight-cars, prospects of development of diagnostics and non-destructive testing means, familiarization with changes in rules for non-destructive testing and with modern developments for sets of flaw detection (ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle) equipment for non-destructive testing of details for rolling stock which uses 1520 mm ruts.
